Who We Are

Australian Wine Agencies are the leading specialist importers of Australian wine into the UK.

Australian Wine Agencies is the UK's leading specialist Australian wine importer. We have, in one guise or another, been importing wine from Australia since the mid-1980s.

In 1983, we set up The Drunken Mouse, one of the UK's first Australian specialist wine shops, in Putney, South West London. In 1989, we established The Australian Wine Centre, in the basement of South Australia House on the Strand in Central London, which won the International WINE challenge New World Specialist in 1991.

When the South Australia House building closed at the end of 1994, we launched The Australian Wine Club, which won the International WINE Challenge Australian Specialist Merchant for four years running from 1997.

Australian Wine Agencies is dedicated to seeking out new and exciting wines from Australia's top boutique wineries. Distribution is through nationwide supermarkets, off-licence chains, independent wine merchants and through mail order companies.
